You can spend your day wandering around the Old Town of JB, taking lots of photos and enjoying the colourful murals. But our favorite spot is Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Street. This historic street is named after one the founding fathers of JB and is lined with boutique cafes, antique shops and restaurants that are ready to serve you if your hunger strikes and you need a break from the heat.
- The City View from Skyscape, Menara Jland
Skyscape is the first aerial entertainment space in JB. It opened its doors in 2019! The observation deck is curved and has glass flooring. From up high, you can see both Johor as well as Singapore from the top. The space is located in Menara Jland and offers a variety of VR and interactive gaming options. There are also photo spots that will allow you to capture an IG-worthy picture.
- Johor Premium Outlets
Johor Premium Outlets is a paradise for shopaholics, where luxury brands can be purchased at discounted prices. JPO offers a wide range of outlets, including DKNY and Fossil as well as Nike, Adidas, Armani Exchange and Timberland. There’s also a food court, cafes, dessert shops and many restaurants within the premises in case you feel hungry.
- Water Theme Park “Dinosaurs Alive!”
Enjoy water play at Dinosaurs-Alive Water Theme Park, Johor Bahru. The water park is located at the KSL Hotel & Resort. It features many pools, waterslides and other water features.
Two giant dinosaur mouths lead to the resort, where you will find a Jurassic-themed water park. There are several pools in the park, including a kid’s pool, three slides, water guns, fountains and water guns. Five animatronic dinosaurs, each with a life-size body, are located throughout the water park. They are equipped with sensors that allow them to move and squirt water as you approach.
